Happy Queensday !!!
First of all, I wish you all Happy Queensday !!! (?) Instead of going to the city, check out the little markets or even go party in Amsterdam I decided to stay at home. Yesterday I returned from Amsterdam visiting Klaas and I needed some extra time to refuel. He’s going to Spain for a studytrip at the end of next week, I didn’t want to bother him in the few days he had left before going on the trip. So we decided to meet up thursday evening
Although we planned on meeting up, I wasn’t sure if I still wanted to. I already spend several days in my hometown, relaxing, planning my further school carreer and getting hooked on Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix. I never knew streetracing could be so much fun! Thanks oniichan ♥ My big brother was so proud I won 2 cars, 1 motorbike, loads of money and pimped my hot Mitsubishi Eclipse - in the end he wanted to copy my savefile because I won cars he hadn’t won
So I called Klaas and asked if he also wanted to go shopping in Amsterdam, to add more fun to our ‘date’. But he told me he wanted to clean his room while wearing his bathrobe and do the laundry. He didn’t feel like shopping, not that he hates shopping or well maybe just that day.
Blegh, I wanted to have fun before he went to Spain and I didn’t plan hanging around with a guy wearing his bathrobe and spend the evening totally bored!

Klaas apologized, his remark about hanging around in his bathrobe wasn’t really fun for someone who wanted to come and visit him. He promised he was going to cook and I decided to make the 2 hours train ride from my hometown to Amsterdam. When I arrived Klaas already did the grocery shopping. He bought some juice specially for me (he only drinks water, coffee and wine), some fruit yoghurt as dessert and breakfast and oohhh; butterscotch chocolate
How can it be guys can act like total meanies and still pull off sweet tricks like buying your favorite yummie stuff?!! Klaas also bought some ready made lasagna, but that was truly aweful! Italian food isn’t fit to be bought ready made so I didn’t eat much. Klaas looked at me worriedly and asked if I ate enough. I told him I was fine and that we already had some bites of the chocolate so… He wasn’t pleased with my answer and send me to the kitchen to get the fruit yoghurt and eat a bowl.
After dinner we watched Legally Blonde, although I have seen it like three times (and yes even once with german dubs) I still like it. We also thought about going to the theaters for a movie, but it was already late so we decided to stay in. The next day we went for a quick brunch at Café Katoen. A very cozy and popular place. All seats were taken so we ended up sitting at the bar, but they sure had the best hot chocolate I had since a long time. ♥
When I’m a student at UvA I hope to discover more fun places in Amsterdam. I noticed Klaas knows only a few spots so I bought a little TrendGuide some time ago with all the fun places in Amsterdam! I really should visit Melly’s Cookiebar soon, it’s soooo damn KAWAIIIIII !!! Oh reminds me, I have to ask Klaas to bring home some nice Doña Jimena chocolates (?) from his trip to Spain *tee-hee*

Rofl, guys definitely do have a way of making you really annoyed and then redeeming themselves perfectly
Oh yum, Melly’s Cookiebar looks not only kawaii, but also very oishii. Looking at that website made me really hungry for good cookies. Lol.

I love Midnight Club 3! I never thought streetracing could be so much fun either. I have already beat it, now I just race for money in order to pimp my rides and get new ones
Seems like he made a nice effort to spend quality time with you before he left. That was nice
Glad you didn’t have to sit there with a guy in his bathrobe, lol.

Aww, it sounds like your trip to Amsterdam was pretty fun! Even if the time that you spent with Klaas wasn’t exactly ideal, at least you got to spend time with him before he left!
That lasagna looks good, but I bet it wasn’t nearly as good as any home made kind. Especially my delicious lasagna! xP

I haven’t played Midnight Club 3, but I own the second one. I don’t do well with racing games, so… of course, I keep ending up in last place. I got frustrated and threw the game around the room a few times and put it up… never to be touched again. But, its good that you can play it…
I’m glad that you were able to spend time with Klaas. Guys are strange creatures, aren’t they? At least he apologized… with the guys I know, apologies don’t come naturally to them.
Leagally Blonde? I’ve never seen it, but I have heard of it. I might have to go out and check it out.

It’s like guys are do the selfish thing first, then realize it & change. sigh~ yea, Italian food tastes like crap “ready-made” in my opinion too.

It is simply because they are guys! But they are wonderful too! Sounds like you had a great time :D! I love Legally Blonde! Of course I just think Reese Witherspoon is simply amazing! hehe! And yah most Italian food does taste awful ready made!!! But I do like it not ready made!
