It’s already May ?

Woahhh - I can’t believe it’s already May *sigh* Time flies! Haha and I can’t wait until it’s September, but I think I will defenitely enjoy summervacation too. Although I’m starting Communication Science at UvA (?) in September and devote almost all my time to this new study. I still have to brush up my Japanese language skills and so I’ve started to study kanji again. During summervacation I’m also going to practice conversation. Now that I know I will be able to study Communication Science and Japanese, I really feel motivated (again) :D

Rundown casefan NEW book : Fantoompijn by Arnon Grunberg

Next to studying kanji, I’ve been reading loads and of course trying to catch a movie. Titles I can really recommend: ‘Een Schitterend Gebrek’ written by Arthur Japin or translated in English In Lucia’s Eyes. Be sure to follow the link to read more about it! I’ve finally seen The Constant Gardener, defenitely a must see movie. What is it with multinationals and scandals? *sigh* Still the movie was interesting and somewhat frightening too. I’m currently reading ‘Fantoompijn’ written by Arnon Grunberg. I enjoy it, but my reading pace has gone down a little after simply devouring books in 3 days or less. Now I only have 2 books to go for the challenge.

I’ve convinced my parents to not buy a pc this year, but wait untill Windows Vista hits the consumer market next year or something. Perfect timing to update my current almost 3-year old pc. I’ve upgraded the memory from 256MB RAM to 512MB and I replaced the casefan, because it was kinda noisy. I still want to replace the CPU fan (just to be sure) and get a DVD burner installed, but that will happen somewhere in the near future (read: when I have more money). Luckily my parents thought it was fair to split the costs of the upgrade ♥ The double memory really makes things work smoother AND I can finally play Guild Wars again without too much lag.

Ooohh my mom and sister went to Melly’s Cookiebar when my mom went to Amsterdam for a haircut at Toni&Guy. They bought some cookies so I could also enjoy them and ohhh they were truly oishiiiiiiiii !!!!!! It seems the shop also has the best Italian Coffee in Amsterdam *sigh* My mom did feel kinda bad I wasn’t there with them, especially after I talked about the shop so much…
