So busy !
Argh~ I’m still very busy with my final paper of Canon ‘History of Ideas’ *sigh* The books I’m using are pretty hard to read. I’m struggling, but I’m sure I will finish the paper tomorrow and finally clean up my room 
Friday I went to some employement agencies for a temporary job during the summer. Although it might be easier to find a fun (student) summerjob in Leiden, I really want to spend my summer at my parents’ place and look for a job in my hometown. Loads of jobs are for high school students, because they’re really ‘cheap and cheerful’ *sigh* But I did manage to land a fun summerjob that day!
My hometown may be small, but it’s pretty famous because of the Dutch TT, a motorcycling event part of the MotoGP World Championship and traditionally held on the last saturday of June at the TT Circuit Assen. The circuit is considered the ‘Cathedral’ of motorcycling ♥ And I will be working there as a caterer at the day of the big race ワクワク !!! And you know what? My birthday is at the end of June and the TT race is always around the same day. This year the race is just one day before my birthday 
Haha my birthday is actually a very special date to me. I graduated from high school on my birthday, one of my fellow students got her driver’s license on my birthday, Robbie Williams will be in The Netherlands for a concert and of course the FIFA World Cup will also be around my bday わあああああい !!! Ok maybe it’s not that special, but graduating from high school on my birthday was really cool 
Ack I’m off again! I’ll plug you sweet commenters later, now I’m off to watch another hilarious episode of Ouran High School Host Club and ___ work on my paper

The last couple of days I’ve been planning and playing around with my calculator. I found out I need to spend close to € 300,- on books, syllabi and other schoolstuff for the first semester of Communication Science! Luckily my parents always refund at least 50% of costs related to studybooks. And I’ve started a strict monthly saving plan so all planned payments over the coming months go smoothly
After reading Cosmopolitan UK for almost 5 years, I finally decided I need a change. Unlike my big sister who usually only looks at the clothes in fashion magazines, I love to read the articles too. But after a while magazines tend to repeat themselves. ‘Feel confident naked’, ‘How to get a payrise’ or ‘My mother cheated with my fiancé!’. Been there, seen it, read it all *sigh* So I’ve decided to (finally) subscribe to CanCam magazine ♥ From July this sweet Japanese fashion magazine will be send directly to my home

Klaas has returned from his Spain trip and he didn’t forget to buy the Doña Jimena chocolates at the airport. I only spoke to him on the phone so we didn’t really have an intimate conversation about our relationship and such - yet (?). But he told me he didn’t ‘misbehave’ during the trip. Argh, there goes my ‘meeting a nice girl and settle down’ wish. Maybe he tells me about it after we do meet up somewhere next week, but I have no reason to doubt him right now. We’ve always been pretty honest with eachother.
Haha, maybe I do get what I’ve wished for. Klaas has been accepted to study at a university in Madrid next year. It’s still pretty far in the future (february ‘07) and everything can happen. Although I’m really happy for him it also made me feel kinda NANA-ish (?). I’ve decided not to tell him about the whole downgrading to a platonic level thing. I’ll let things develop naturally and stick to what I think is most important. Be kind and loving to eachother ♥ Well I hope there’s still a nice trip to Madrid in it for me 
Back to here and now! Have to go to bed NOW~ Tomorrow I have to go back to Leiden to pick up books for my final paper for canon ‘History of Idea’s’. I want to write a paper about ‘Marxism in Japan’ and you know what’s so great about it? One of the books I want to use, is written by my professor. Don’t like that at all !!! 
Temptation
The weather has been so good lately, the temperature has been around 25 degrees Celcius Perfect weather for tops, shorts and of course (sexy) sandals. Unfortunately the weatherman told us the temperature is going to drop this weekend and it will start raining *sigh*
I love illustrated cards and although I’m a doglover myself, I just fell in love with this card by Kay McDonagh featuring a cat taking a catnap ♥ Ahh, it’s so sweet! I decided to buy it and send it as a ‘get well card’ to Klaas’ mom who has broken her leg in several places after an inline skating accident.
I’ve been craving for sweets lately. But because I’m busy losing my winterfat I so have to stay away from candy and *arghh* Ben&Jerry’s Haha of course that doesn’t mean I can’t stuff myself with sweet stuff. I already eat loads of strawberries and today I bought a watermelon *waaaiiiiii* It’s soooo good, I already ate half of it! Hmm, I totally forgot to eat it with some salt. I saw this somewhat strange combi in loads of anime and of course (normal) Japanese movies. Now I’m curious…
Have you ever seasoned a melon with salt and ate it ? 
Ahh I finally found an instant barbeque set Now I can have a small BBQ party at my balcony in Leiden or maybe even with Klaas in Amsterdam. Mehh, I kinda miss him Although I enjoy spending time together, I really want our relationship to get more to a platonic level. Maybe if he finds a (new) girlfriend and settles down a bit, I don’t have to be the cute girl at his side when I actually need to have some friendly platonic fun *sigh* I’m tired of acting like a girlfriend when I’m oficially not. What should I do, I still want to be friends with Klaas. Oh well, we’ll see how things went during his Spain trip
