 I’ve just returned from my 6 kilometers or 3.7 miles power walk. My parents really want to get in shape and started the power walk thing. In stead of slowly increasing the distance they’re slowing increasing their spead on this 3.7 miles route. I thought it was a great idea and wanted to tag along, so my parents bought me a new tracksuit so I could join the fun *gulp* Today was actually the 2nd time I walked together with my parents, I already joined them yesterday. But I’m not sure if I really like it yet, because it is pretty BORING  つまらないだよ。

If you want to keep a steady pace you don’t want to be distracted. A mp3 player or iPOD surely helps, but I don’t have one yet  Also the walking thing is pretty tricky. I feel like running, but with my stamina I won’t make it to the finish line. So I try to handle my energy and keep a steady pace untill the end. Ahh it’s quite challenging actually. I guess I’m trying to slowly (and patiently) build up my stamina and also do some short sprints during the walk. Ahhh I kinda feel like a Chocobo (?) during a race :P Oh well, walking does shape and tone your legs and butt. Good enough for me!

Before starting the serious walk thing, my mom send me out to buy her — ok, ok US — some delicious chocolates. Not wanting to come home with the chocolates I always come home with, like Toblerone or Milka - I decided to take a good look around the candystore and select a new not tasted yet brand. That’s how I came across Lily O’Briens Irish Luxury Chocolates. The Chocolati Tub is very nice, it’s light and not too sweet. You can seriously keep on eating  I’m very interested in their bonbons, but now that I’ve started to power walk and stuff…

Next week Tanuki and the Alumni Kai are organising a special lecture given by Kazuhiko Togo, Japan’s former Ambassador to Holland and Chief of the European Asian Bureau. During the lecture ‘Overcoming Yasukuni’ he will talk about the problems revolving the yearly visit of Prime Minister Koizumi to the Yasukuni Shrine. Be sure to read about it at Wikipedia if you want to know more. I’m really looking forward to it, because the person who will give the lecture isn’t just somebody, I believe he’s rather LARGE *gulp* We’re also using his book ‘Japan’s Foreign Policy 1945-2003‘ during one of our classes :D

Because I want to wear a not too formal outfit during the lecture, I decided to buy some new shirts at H&M. I do hope my fellow boardmembers don’t dress too formal  Ahh if I keep it fresh I’m sure it’s allowed. I also bought some earrings I just couldn’t resist. Currently there’s a nice promotional action at H&M, after collecting 5 stamps in your Passport to Summer you will receive a 50% discount. With the summer close by it’s simply AWESOME! Be sure to check out www.hm.com for more details.

Tomorrow I’m going to a SOLD OUT album celebration party of Tiësto’s (?) new album. I haven’t really listened to it yet, but I’m sure the party will be awesome. I love his sound, the parties, the crowd and er, ok I love his looks too  ラブラブ !!! Hahahahaha~ Time to hit the sack!

Toblerone? Milka? ♥ Wow, I love chocolate so much. I also love the fabulous Wikipedia, and I thank you for now informing me about Yasukuni Shrine which (silly ignorant me) never heard of before.

Hey that chocolate looks DELICIOUS lol too bad I am on diet and cannot eat anything like that. I think I cannot even walk too close to chocolate or I’ll get instantly fatter hehe.

Apart from any weight issue I think it’s a real cool thing you’re getting in shape by that walking programme. Good luck on that ;)
Cya.

Keep it fresh & maybe lightly layered shirts too, that’s casual but not too casual :). I didn’t know bout this H&M deal!!

i love how your pics are so damn clear.. i wish my digicam was that clear.. ;)

that is cool you are working out with your parents … anything is cool if they buy you an outfit to do it lol

Lmfao to me your power walk think looks like torture!!!! I usually have to walk 2 kms each morning to go to the station to go to school, and usually I have to hurry because I’m late and I don’t want to miss the train, and after that I’m just… dead. lol So I can’t imagine walking quickly during 6kms just for fun :p
I love the shirt you bought at H&M… I always buy my clothes there I so love that store!

Gah, more food on your blog. I kid you not, you just made me crave chocolate. Doesn’t go very well with my ‘diet’.

Anyways, walking is good for you, and its really cool that you are able to walk with your parents for 3.7 miles. I know if I was walking with my mother for that long, I’d go insane. A chocobo? Haha… Final Fantasy is awesome.

The lecture sounds interesting… It would be really cool to attend. *Jealous*

Oh the power walk sounds fun, it sure is a good way to stay in shape. That chocolate looks too good to be true. haha The lecture sounds intresting, that would be really cool to attend. I really really love your shirts and earrings. SO CUTE! I have to check out H&M I have never been there, my friends went to one in NYC, but I was with a bunch of guys and we wanted to see NYC not shop. hehe Leave it to me to always just be with the guys. I really missed you while I was gone I hope all was well :D

Ooooh, power walking is definitelt good for toning all those lower muscles :D It does get rather boring though and I agree listening to music really helps speed things along :D

Stick to it … it’s a great way to get fit and toned :D

I should try the power walk :) I hate running so walking won’t be a problem :D

Oh, those shirts an earrings look great! Actually, I just almost both that kind of stripe shirt :)

Power walks… fun. HAHA thats pretty much the only physical activity I CAN do. Walking. I need to do something like that this summer.

The clothes and earrings are so cute! Love them!

well thankyou for commenting even though you didnt have to. I like despair for the fact I find new and interesting blogs, I just dont like the comments i recieve from people nor the fact that sometimes i really dont want to comment on something. I have a few online friend who regularly read my blog, i dont really need strangers coming and giving random comments just because they have to…if you get what I mean..lol Im not well at explaing things but I guess im not into it anymore

Ah, I know what you mean about walking being boring at times. I’ve been trying to get started walking myself but it never seems to happen. I always want to try to run too… but I know I won’t be able to make it to the end if I do that. Lovely site :)

I love Toblerone! I eat chocolate everyday :)
You’re lucky you have time to go for walks. I don’t really do have any now, I’m studying for my exams :(

WOW, power walking that much might feel like torture for you! But hey, it’s good for you, to look at the bright side. Good luck with the walking!

Wow.. I dont think I could power walk that! Our society is so lazy, its almost sad that we can’t do things like that. Tell me how the power walking ends out - is it a decent work out? tone well? that may be a sport (okok, activity) i can actually stick with! Everything else is too strenuous for me!

;__; sorry, for spamming, looks like my last comment didn’t show up. blegh! I’m sad… anyway, it wasn’t very interesting. I was rambling over chocolate brands…. hahaha! XDDD

I’ve never tried running with an MP3 or an iPod before. But maybe I should give it a go. Thanks for the tips! Hmm. I’ve never exercised with my parent before, but only with my old best friend. But now that she left, I have no one to tell me to stay in shape, lol.

I loveeeeeeeeeeeee ur clothes
