Shopping Spree ?
In a previous entry I told that I was really short on cash and had to stick to a tight budget. My main concern was paying off my vacation and I planned on doing so, untill two days ago… Because my father payed a rather large sum for my sister, my mom got totally worked up about it (she didn’t know about it) and decided I didn’t have to pay for my vacation 
Somehow we are always spoiled rotten, so I usually try to pay for everything I need. I get this sick feeling in my stomach when my parents start to over indulge me *ughh*
So I told them if it was going to be that way I would pay all my college things. I directly ordered all my books for the first semester, payed the study association membership and the tuition fee of the Introduction Week 
I’m so relieved~ And I was able to resist the urge to buy a Playstation Portable. It’s the only thing on my wishlist now ahehehe~ Especially since MGS Portable Ops is coming to PSP and… I must admit I want to try LocoRoco (?) it looks soooo darn HAPPY! 
Instead of buying videogames and stuff I decided to do some OK shopping. I still need cute clothes, so I bought new pirate-like trousers and a nice striped sweater. I also bought some quality magazines: Computer Arts and GoPlay Magazine featuring the a MGS special! 
I’m still thinking about buying a nice leather bag for college and sandals or something else with heels *bought it* 
It’s already noon here, time to do something productive

I’m Still In A Dream
Mehh~ I talked about not taking care of my fanlistings like I should have, right? (?) 
Well I really want to do a major summer overhaul of all the fanlistings I have, starting with one my most favorite: I’m Still In A Dream dedicated to all the Metal Gear Solid installments. Although designing the layout went pretty smoothly, it took me some time to get the coding right - especially getting the fanlisting script in there. And the combination of i-frames and DOCTYPE’s {= horizontal scrollbar} sure can be a pain. But I think I managed well 
{put body width on 90%} *sigh*
I got my hands on the Metal Gear Solid series fanlisting right after MGS 3: Snake Eater was released somewhere at the end of 2004. I have been a fan of MGS since the first installment, I played it over and over again. I think I finished Metal Gear Solid over 7 times during the summer-vacation of 1999. I was even able to tape the conversations and listen to them when I wasn’t able to sleep. I’m still able to do a good impression of Liquid Snake 
Haha I guess I really deserved becoming the ‘approved’ holder of this fanlisting! Who can beat a mumbling fan doing all the codec conversations and all?
While I was working on the new layout I listened to the MGS 3 soundtrack to get some inspiration. Although the game was released over a year ago I still get goosebumps when I hear THAT song___ the song that gave me the inspiration to start the fanlisting in the first place: Snake Eater sung by Cynthia Harrel I’m not able to give you the download to the sung, but you can listen to it by viewing the intro of MGS 3: Snake Eater just after the cut.
