Rainy Days & Mondays
Although I officially have one month vacation left, my vacation will be unofficially over in 1.5 weeks 
I can’t believe how fast it flew by *sigh* I’m currently busy wrapping things up for the Student Association Tanuki in Leiden, studying for two final exams I really want to pass before I start my Communication Science adventure and getting ready for a student-life in Amsterdam. I must say I’m really looking forward to attending classes at UvA 
It’s like I’m ready again to suck up some knowledge - wuhaaaaaa~
I’ve really enjoyed my time in my hometown, although that also meant getting a portion of household drama again. When I’m in Leiden I’m too busy to worry about my mom nagging about cleaning the house or my brother doing totally nothing at home 
Haha I guess I am ready to return to Leiden and do things on my own time and my own way *harharhar* Only returning to my hometown in the weekends keeps a healthy balance, maybe I should return home twice a month instead of every weekend. Ahh we’ll see how things go…
Saturday I went to see Superman Returns together with my dad, brother and sister. My mom didn’t want to go because she’s a big fan of Batman after seeing ‘Batman Begins’ 
Anyway, I didn’t expect much of the movie and tried to watch it with an open mind. I must say I really liked it! It’s a very classic superhero movie and although I’ve watched the original movies with Christopher Reeve a very very very long time ago it definitely has the same feel to it - I’ll save my contemplations for a review. I should really start writing those reviews I promised *sorry* 
If you like guns and big bangs you shouldn’t go see the movie, but if you like classic super hero stuff you should definitely go! 
Mehh~ I should get back to all the stuff I still need to do 
*very big sigh*

Wow, summer has flown by like crazy.
Superman Returns was much better than Batman Begins. I was like a kid, with pins on his butt, when watching Batman.
I haven’t seen Superman Returns but knowing James, we’re probably going to see it, lol. And household drama sucks, I’m glad I don’t live at “home” anymore, I moved out a year and a half ago.
Ah, vacation is almost over for me as well. I go back to college on the 28th of this month. Where did all my vacation go?
Anyways, household drama always sucks. At least you get a break from it every now and then. I still live with my family, so I deal with it 24/7.
Can’t believe vacation is almost over. Sounds like you have way too much to cram into the few weeks you have left. Hopefully you get a LITTLE more downtime before your life gets crazy!
Oh no… so your vacation finally comes to its ending. 
I still have time until October, because our semester break always start rather late….
Hey, I got your letter last week!! Thanks a lot! It was so sweet to receive something in the mail from my precious penpals. hahaha! Sorry, that I didn’t tell you that I got your letter, though. Work has been crazy lately…. I guess I need a break sooner or later…
Yeah, I agree with you! Currently I’m staying at Alex’ home all the time in order to keep a healthy balance with my family. x__x
summer is speeding by so quickly its awefull that so many peoples holidays are coming to an end. lol I wish i only had to see my family at the weekends, there would be a lot less arguing.
My holiday will be over soon too, but I’m excited too.
Superman Returns is okay to me… I’m not a big fan for action movies so I guess it’s pretty good already. Why would your mum not watch Superman because she likes Batman? That’s funny! I prefer Spiderman and still watched Superman.
