This evening I worked for the 2nd time at Euroborg in Groningen during the practice match against Aston Villa. I really had a good time the first time I had to work there, so… Again I had to work behind the counter at the South Gallery, but it seemed they planned in too much workforce so they send me off to another gallery! The South Gallery has the biggest counter and is always busy, so you could think it’s good to be send off to another less busy counter, but…

They send me to the Z-Side counter :) haha~ there’s nothing wrong with the Z-Side Gallery, but it’s just that all the hardcore fans sit there  I was just talking about the Z-Side Gallery to some of my colleagues, I thought it was pretty impressive and maybe even somewhat scary when FC Groningen would have to play a more important match *gulp* The South Gallery is the place where parents sit with their children, so when I walked to the other side of the stadium you could imagine the contrast of the audience :( *sigh*

I’ve never been good with rowdy fans, so to be honest I was a little nervous. Luckily things went just fine :D The fans were pretty friendly people too. Haha, I forgot I was rooting for the same team as them! Although working at the counter was less stressed and maybe a somewhat smaller challenge. The audience was much more fun, the screams of joy - the oooohs and ahhhhs - INSANE! A guy even grabbed my hand and danced on a support tune :P Bet it was my smile that saved the day! ;)

I’m really looking forward to working there again. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to work during the match against FC Feyenoord - the first match of the Eredivisie or Honorary Division (?) That’s really going to be a BIG match! Oh well we’ll see how things go… Time to hit the sack, I’m pretty tired now - お休みなさい。 The match ended in a 2-2 draw…
