A Surprise Visit

I’m currently at Leiden University in one of the computer rooms. I finally ordered a new wireless router so I can also enjoy internet access at my room, but it came in on monday afternoon (hometown) - just when I went to Leiden monday morning *sigh* :P But I think I will be ONLINE at the end of the week - yaaaiiii !!!

Yesterday I went to Amsterdam to pick up my mom’s wallet at Magna Plaza, one of my favorite shopping places in Amsterdam. The stores are so-so, but the building is just beautiful! Eto, back to the wallet. My mom went to Toni & Guy on Sunday, but somebody stole her wallet! She found out when she got back to my sister’s place in Almere and was busy blocking all bankcards.

Later, I (still in my hometown) got a phone call of security that somebody had found the wallet and brought it to the lost and found department. Of course all the money was gone, but luckily all her cards and ID were still in it. Since my Public Transport card is valid again I told my mom I would pick it up for her the next day. Security was able to contact us, because my mom left some adress tags of our vacation to Portugal in here wallet with her adress and phone number - smart move !!! ;)

The weather was still great in Amsterdam so I decided to give Klaas a call. I thought he would also be in the city, but he was still cooped up in his room. He thought it was OK if I went to visit him, so I did. He told me he didn’t do anything yet - he just didn’t feel like doing anything that day. Hmm, maybe a little bit of PMS? :D So I told him we had to go outside, do something FUN. We decided to get a drink at Het Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ. We sat down by the water - kinda chilly, but with the sun it was really lovely. Should always bring my digital camera with me!

When you’re spending € 20,– on grocery shopping at AH you get a special ‘2nd movie ticket for free’ coupon. So Klaas and I decided to buy more stuff than we actually needed, but we got that coupon! We haven’t planned a movie date yet, so… Klaas told me he isn’t quite eating right lately, but he also didn’t feel like cooking. I decided to cook him some home-made macaroni and salmon. I think he thought it looked rather scary, but he told me he really loved it

Because it was somewhat of a surprise visit I had to get back to Leiden. I missed the bus and had to walk from the station to my place. I really hate that, it’s always so quiet after closing time *sigh* I was able to get home safe so no worries! :)
