IQ Test

Although Klaas is pretty busy with saying goodbye to his friends & family and moving out his stuff from his student apartment, we managed to hook up yesterday too. When we found out BNN was broadcasting the Nationale IQ Test live yesterday evening, we decided to participate with pen and paper. I never did an IQ Test before so I was kinda curious on how well I would do.

 :ugh: Klaas told me he was sure his IQ would be higher than mine, but just to be save he wanted us to not talk nor cheat during the test. Bwaahh~ sometimes he’s so full of himself! The test was pretty fun, there were some difficult questions - but the hardest thing was the time limit. I usually like to take my time to think things over. After checking all my answers, my IQ score is 116 - which is high average  :cup: Klaas got an IQ score of 123 - which means superior or something *ugh* Luckily I was able to tease him since he confessed he scored 127 on the test last year!

This morning I had an appointment at Soap Company (also) in Amsterdam :duck: Even though I visited a beauty salon in my hometown during the summer and I planned on visiting it every month, I stopped going there because it was terrible  My skin is oily AND über sensitive, so you can’t just throw stuff on! Luckily my first appointment in Amsterdam went great and I made a new appointment for next month

:cup: More good news: our ’sexism in ads’ assignment got a sufficient grade, my grade for the assignments part of the Research Methods course is now a healthy 7.2 :saylove:

I Smell Dog

 :twinkle: Having a dog is great you can walk for hours, play fetch or cuddle like crazy. But, when your dog get’s dirty it’s a whole other ball game! It’s easy to hose your dog down with your garden hose and keep your fingers crossed - dogs usually think it’s a continuation of the mud game just minutes before *sigh*

Rhinoplasty

When talking to friends about rhinoplasty, the topic usually shifts to the horror stories of Michael Jackson’s nose or how only shallow people want plastic surgery   While watching reality tv shows like Extreme Makeover or The Swan which focus on viewer ratings, people tend to forget how plastic surgery can definitely be helpful to some people who really have serious issues about their appearance :(

 If you’re considering rhinoplasty, be sure to visit The Rhinoplasty Center an educational website provided by Dr. Daniel G. Becker, MD, FACS. View before and after photos of rhinoplasty surgeries (nosejobs) performed by Dr. Becker, find answers to loads of questions, and learn about the anatomy of the nose and the concept of the ‘ideal nose’.

Dr. Becker’s offices are in Sewell, New Jersey. These offices are very convenient by car for patients from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware and other neighboring states. Patients from other areas usually fly.
