Final Fantasy XII

Sometimes it’s hard to live in Europe, especially when it comes to videogames
I decided to just go buy Final Fantasy XII since I already had to wait a very long time before it finally got released in Europe - almost a year !!! When I bought the game I also received a special mini guide by Piggyback. After I got my hands on their guide for Metal Gear Solid 3 : Snake Eater I just fell in love with this publisher. The guide wasn’t just helpful, but also beautifully designed and a true collector’s item for the fan - yup, ME :saylove:
So when I learned Piggyback also published a LIMITED EDITION hardcover guide for FFXII I just had to buy it
Yes, the ‘limited edtion’ marketing trick so works with me *sigh* But the hardcover edtion is really beautiful and I’m glad I got my hands on it
About Final Fantasy merchandise, I still want to get my hands on the Cloudy Wolf Ring of Cloud & Tifa from FFVII Advent Children (?). Kluk kluk kluk kluk ~
:twinkle: Back to the game - yeahhh~ the game is just really good. I only spend 10 hours playing the game, so there is still so much for me to discover. I plugged my Playstation 2 in our HDTV and showed my dad the intro movie of the game. He loved it and couldn’t believe it was JUST the intro of a game
Even though me dad didn’t notice much, I saw the quality was a bit off. I guess it looked like you saw Playstation 3 footage on a normal tv… it was OK, but it could be better. When you watch analog tv on a HDTV is looks horrible, so you need digital tv for the best quality - same goes for the video input of the Playstation.
Since I’m also planning on buying a Playstation 3 at the end of the year or at the start of next year I’m planning on buying a 23″ HD Ready LCD TV somewhere around my birthday in June. Some decent Samsung models can be found for € 500,- ! And yeah I already talked to my dad about a possible 50/50 split b-day present :present: I think it’s a good investment before buying a HD console like the Playstation 3. I really need to replace my 15″ combi television BEFORE I buy a next generation console
- yes, I’m an electronic gadget geek!
