Spring Feeling

Ahhh~ even though I have to hand in the final version of ‘our’ literature study about Sex in the Media on monday and I have a (tiring) meeting about it tomorrow - I still feel so GOOD :twinkle:  Blame it on the sunny weather of the last couple of days! Unfortunately the temperature is going to drop again after the weekend *sigh*

Yesterday I went to the little supermarket in the Okura Hotel in Amsterdam. One of my fellow students, Lisanne, tagged along and she was really interested in the Mousse Pocky with green tea flavor :) in the end she didn’t really like the flavor, but luckily the cute Hello Kitty sweets made up for that. I got a box of mousse pocky, milk & honey flavored pocky, hi-chew lemon, sweets, a box of Kiwami Cacao Fran, water in a nifty bottle and 2 cans of BOSS coffee. But I was also able to get my hands on some ready-made MOCHI (?)  It was great to visit the shop again, it’s been such a long time *sigh*

After our shopping spree we still had some time before our practicum class would start so she invited me come so her house. It turns out Klaas lived only a few streets away when he still lived in that part of Amsterdam! So it was nice to be in the neighborhood again, it brought back loads of memories :D :tune: mostly of Klaas giving me a ride to his house on his bike ~ I’m so glad there are trams in Amsterdam! I managed to get to my practicum class in time with all my goodies. I converted some people to Pocky fans by feeding them the milk & honey flavored ones. Hahaha - Japanese candy sure looks interesting and most importantly CUTE :P

Thanks Jen & Sanne for your comments about the new layout! But I’m not sure how long I will keep it up - after listening to dj TiĆ«sto’s (?) new album Elements of Life I really feel inspired to make a layout featuring the HOT guy (kinda like my Niwa one) *sigh* Zya ne!

I wasn’t too crazy about the green tea mousse pocky when I tried it either, lol, too bad for her =T.

yea, japanese sure know how to make every product (no matter how ugly) into something cute and nice >

japanese candy is the best. I lived in singapore for a couple of years so I was exposed to all manner of lovely food items. my favourites were the hello panda chocolate filled biscuits things, and strawberry juice by caprisonne. which probably isn’t even japanese (I never thought to look) but is very nice indeed.

those products seems nice :) it made me want to try them :D but the problem is, there’s no Okura Hotel here :(

(despair)

Gotta love japanese products!

Even their hiragana and katakana characters are adorable! I love chewing on their candie, but I’ve got to be super-cautious who I eat them around, becuase I tend to get attacked for candy by hoardes of my friends and what was once plenty, quickly turns into nada.

XD

I love your layout! It’s so pretty (: Ah I really want to go to Amsterdam…never been there before but it always looks so pretty in postcards (:

Awwwww!! I love pocky and Japanese sweets too!! I wonder if there’s a “Pocky Anonymous”?

*sniff* We don’t have an Okura Hotel here… That makes me kinda sad. Ah well. I love the layout by the way, it’s very adorable =).

Wow, the new layout looks awesome! The layout in your previous post looks nice as well. Niwa is super hot!

Ah~ Pocky… I’ve stopped eating them because I love them so much. They are so addicting, once I start eating them, I can’t stop!

Uber awesome new layout! I’d love to visit Amsterdam one day, far in the distant future…

First of all, I love this layout. The colors make me very happy lol.
And yeah, the weather is crappy lately. I wish it would just stay warm instead of teasing us like that!

I like the layout, nice job. Sounds like it was a fun time at the little supermarket. Best of luck talk to you later bye.

whoaaaah! *___* congrats on the new layout!! I love it! hehehe~ guys to flirt around!! lol

Pocky? Did you really say pocky? omg! I love it soooo much! Guess why I choose the name pocky. hahaha! XDDD Too bad that it’s not available in Germany. Okay, there are chocolate sticks but they aren’t called pocky…. plus I’m a great fan of extraordinary sticks such as milk, strawberry etc. which of course are NOT available in any stores I know… T__T
