Madrid Again

:) :evil: After Klaas finished his midterm test (!) I finally had the chance to see more of Madrid. We returned to Sol by train and subway, we decided to walk the final bit and saw Plaza de Cibeles. It was totally hectic on Thursday evening, but luckily there wasn’t much traffic on Sunday so I was able to make some pictures. During the walk I was so in awe of all the grand buildings, the architecture is so beautiful in Madrid :saylove: :) *ahhhhhh*

Before going out for dinner we hooked up with the ex girlfriend of one of Klaas guyfriends. She invited us to come along on a ‘dinnerdate’ with a Spanish Italian guy who studies Dutch and wanted to learn Dutch by talking to Dutch people! :P I was totally into that, because I wouldn’t have to listen to Spanish all the time! After meeting up with him, we headed to a perfect Cuban Bar called La Colonial at Calle Huertas. I love their mujito and their tapas !!! It turned out to be a great night with some fun socializing…

The Italian guy was really cute, giving me his cutlery when the waiter didn’t get the count right - pouring me our shared drinks first (mirror move 1) - also ordering icecream (mirror move 2) and chatting away :oops: He even gave Klaas his phone number so we could hook up later. But when we saw him again on Saturday and the ‘kisses with saying hello & goodbye’ were exchanged Klaas wasn’t really into giving him a call later that night :( Bwah~ too bad !!! Unfortunately Klaas suddenly thought the guy liked me a little too much *sigh* And here I was thinking Klaas & I were just friends ;) :tune: I guess he’s STILL jealous from time to time.

On Friday we visited Plaza Mayor and had lunch at the bar of Klaas’ housemate’s uncle! They definitely have the perfect sandwich :) :love: We saw some other things too, but it started to rain so we decided to head for home. First we did some grocery shopping at the Super Chinese with a very goodlooking clerk *gulp* We bought a bottle of Bailey’s so we didn’t have to buy loads of cocktails in a club. But we got so waisted, we ended up staying in - watching a movie - and going to bed early :mad: :ugh: We promised to hit the club the next evening…
