The J.O.B.
Even though I’m a very spoiled college student who doesn’t really have to work because my parents rather have me concentrating on my schoolwork … I thought some time about getting a job to get some extra cash and save money for a HOT mediacenter computer or ehm, clothes
*nerd* I initially planned on starting my jobhunt next year, but I one day at university I started talking to a fellow student. She told me she had a pretty fun job and if I was looking for one I should call this number. She worked at an inbound callcenter in Amsterdam
:twinkle: I don’t like outbond stuff - having to sell stuff to people - but helping customers with questions and such sounded interesting ~
So I called and got a voicemail
*hufffff* I left my name and number and after a couple of days they got back to me. I’ve always been a little conscious about my voice. When I was younger I thought I sounded like a boy, now that I’m older I sometimes think it doesn’t fit my age
:clover: But lucky lucky me they called me back and arranged a job interview on Monday this week. The conversation went pretty casual, maybe because it was already 16h30 and already late on the working day
When I got to the trainstation I received their call: I got the job ~
I must say I got somewhat mixed feelings. I got the job pretty easy and I was originally planning on working next year .. But - hahah I’m sure happy about getting the job
I will work a total of 12 hours a week with a flexible planning. Pretty sweet deal for a college student I think AND it doesn’t pay that bad either
:cup: Next monday I will have an introductionary shift … so let’s see how things go ~
Please note: I’m currently busy with editing the new layout
things might not look very pretty ~
