Wissenschaftstheorie

:P So my week filled with finals has finally begun !!! Ehehe, it’s Monday and I already finished 50% of them. That’s right, I only have 2 finals this week *sigh* But don’t get me wrong, this doesn’t mean it’s easy sailing. Today I took my first exam Philosophy of Science. A very interesting course, but also loads of theorie we had to memorize *gulp* Luckily Klaas is very interested in philosophy and I was able to ask him things that weren’t clear. But since he also studies a whole different field, sometimes the knowledge wasn’t that compatible…

The exam went ok I guess. I was able to fill in all the open questions, some with a better answer than the other and I did my best on the multiple choice ;) But since I finished the exam pretty fast I’m not sure what to expect. The only thing I can do now is wait for the results. On Thursday I will have my last final for ICT class. Even though the lectures were pretty mellow and easy to understand, I have the feeling the exam is a bit tougher *eeeeep*

To everybody who is also having their finals this or next week:
頑張ってください     きっと勝つ !!!!!! :twinkle:

[sidenote] Unfortunately not everything is going ok  Chris‘ videocard has a malfunction so he won’t be able to come to Second Life for 3 months or so since he’s saving money for an über hot videocard. I will post an update about my virtual life adventures at La Convoitise .org later today ~ [/sidenote]

Dear Santa

During my review by WTB on Monday I was told I officially passed the trial period at my new job ;) :twinkle: I received my own key to the building and like I wrote in my older post there won’t be a trainer sitting next to me when I deal with the incoming phone calls. Even though Xmas is still pretty far away there are already rumours about a possible Xmas gift all employees receive :present: We might get Nintendo’s Wii, the new Ipod touch or something totally different …

And now we can also suggest a gift we might want to receive, as long as it’s not above € 300,- (excl. tax) *gulp* At the moment I have nothing on my ‘want to get it bad’ list, so I have no idea what to suggest! OK getting Playstation 3 would be nice, but that one is just a little too expensive. Maybe I’ll ask the new Playstation Portable Slim & Lite   *tee-hee* Honestly I have no idea, maybe I’ll just wait and see ~

Ehm, what would YOU ask for if you could spend € 300,- or about $ 425,- ?!!

Baito

I’m very much enjoying the fact I’m sorta busy :P Following classes, doing homework, having a baito and also being an active resident in Second Life. I feel pretty organized and that feels pretty good, hahaha ~ I’m currently working at customer service in Amsterdam. After a training period of 4 weeks I’m finally allowed to pick up the phone myself *gulp* On Monday my training period will be reviewed by a person of WTB. I’ve only worked 3 phone call shifts, so I still have much to learn - but I hope they will let me continue after this 1 month training/trial period   Haha~ I definitely enjoy helping out people on the phone.

The first half of the first semester at university is ending soon and finals are coming up. Time is truly flying! Even though I could have turned it up a notch and studied even harder, I think I’ve been a good student and worked seriously ;) So now I’m also staring early with preparing for those finals and work through my notes and read the material again. I also have to work on a little research project again *sigh* Together with a fellow student I’m going to research the influence of ‘gender’ and ‘political interest’ on ‘watching certain tv channels’. Mehh~ I’ll probably write more about it more in later blogposts so I won’t go into it now.

Even though Klaas is back in The Netherlands and is following classes at UvA just like me, we don’t see each other much. He already complained about it and said I never seem to call him or do something together. Thursday my chipknip or stored valuecard broke down on me and I called Klaas to help me out with printing something at university :P He told me to meet him at a café close to his faculty. He was having coffee with a friend who accidentally also is the prospect buyer of my laptop! So we all had a nice cup of coffee  :cafe: after Klaas helped me out with printing my philosophy of science paper *lucky* Next time I should have a proper lunch date with him. Even though he’s pretty hard to handle sometimes, Klaas sure can be a very good friend ~

:saylove:  Waaaaaa-iiiiiii Culcha Candela (!) has just released their new single from their latest album it’s Ey DJ one of my FAVORITE tracks !!! Hahahah and yeahhhhh ~ I know the full lyrics of the song and sing along in German  :twinkle: but buhhh I decided NOT to go to their concert in Berlin  Oh man I really regret that decision now…. *sigh*
