I’m very much enjoying the fact I’m sorta busy
Following classes, doing homework, having a baito and also being an active resident in Second Life. I feel pretty organized and that feels pretty good, hahaha ~ I’m currently working at customer service in Amsterdam. After a training period of 4 weeks I’m finally allowed to pick up the phone myself *gulp* On Monday my training period will be reviewed by a person of WTB. I’ve only worked 3 phone call shifts, so I still have much to learn - but I hope they will let me continue after this 1 month training/trial period
Haha~ I definitely enjoy helping out people on the phone.
The first half of the first semester at university is ending soon and finals are coming up. Time is truly flying! Even though I could have turned it up a notch and studied even harder, I think I’ve been a good student and worked seriously
So now I’m also staring early with preparing for those finals and work through my notes and read the material again. I also have to work on a little research project again *sigh* Together with a fellow student I’m going to research the influence of ‘gender’ and ‘political interest’ on ‘watching certain tv channels’. Mehh~ I’ll probably write more about it more in later blogposts so I won’t go into it now.
Even though Klaas is back in The Netherlands and is following classes at UvA just like me, we don’t see each other much. He already complained about it and said I never seem to call him or do something together. Thursday my chipknip or stored valuecard broke down on me and I called Klaas to help me out with printing something at university
He told me to meet him at a café close to his faculty. He was having coffee with a friend who accidentally also is the prospect buyer of my laptop! So we all had a nice cup of coffee
:cafe: after Klaas helped me out with printing my philosophy of science paper *lucky* Next time I should have a proper lunch date with him. Even though he’s pretty hard to handle sometimes, Klaas sure can be a very good friend ~
:saylove:
Waaaaaa-iiiiiii Culcha Candela (!) has just released their new single from their latest album it’s Ey DJ one of my FAVORITE tracks !!! Hahahah and yeahhhhh ~ I know the full lyrics of the song and sing along in German
:twinkle: but buhhh I decided NOT to go to their concert in Berlin
Oh man I really regret that decision now…. *sigh*

Sorry to hear Klaas is semi-nagging but things are sounding pretty good for you! Staying busy can often be a blessing.

Klass sounds like a great friend to have, even if he is whiny.
Better than making sandwiches anyday.
Wow, your part time job sounds so fun.
