Summer in the City
Blogging this from my sisters’ pc
She’s in her bedroom right now taking a nap after a somewhat busy day. This morning my parents drove me to my sister’s house so I could take a train from there. There was no train riding early enough get me in Amsterdam in time - so crazy!
I understand there aren’t many crazy people who work in Amsterdam and also work there in the weekend so they do have to travel that early … but still, living in the ‘Province’ again makes me very compassionate about these northern provinces and having a good connection to the ‘Randstad’ (?).
Even though I had to be early in Amsterdam I had a pretty relaxed workday. Two hours of training and 2 hours reading letters and ‘doing data’. It was really relaxed and I was glad we were allowed to plugin our iPod’s while working through all the letters. We didn’t have to answer any phonecalls
Officialy we’re closed during the weekend.
After work I took a stroll and went windowshopping together with my sister. She just recently redecorated her home so she was happy she could show it to me. I also saw she had a special board with all my cards that I send her on it
My sister is 9 years my senior, we used to hang out loads and she even took my to my first big dance party with Tiësto *tee-hee* Although she’s almost 10 years older it’s cool we can do stuff together. From time to time we send eachother postcards just to say hi. I was really happy to see my postcards pinned on her special board
I hope next time I can share some pictures of Amsterdam and my travels with you. I have already taken some pics with my mobile phone, but I have to find the data cable *gahhh* Runs off to relax on the couch with a late coffee and some mindless TV watching
