:cry: It’s over … Holland wasn’t strong enough to beat Russia and lost yesterday *sigh* The dream is over. Still, I’m so proud of our Dutch team… they fought for it and I could still see the Lion, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough. I want to thank the Dutch players for giving the most they could give !!!

The Russian team coach is Guus Hiddink a DUTCH soccer manager legend! It was 20 years ago when we beat the Sovjet Union in the grand finale of the EUFA Euro 1988 and we became the champions. During that match our Dutch coach Marco van Basten played!

I dedicate this song We are the Champions by Queen to the Dutch team. We lost, but you guys are still great. Big respect goes to Edwin van der Sar my favorite goalie ever !!! :oops:

NED 2 - 0 ROM

:P Woops~ almost forgot to update !!! The Netherlands beat Romania with 2 - 0 in the final group round of the UEFA Euro 2008 ~ Next time we will have to play against Russia with coach Guus Hiddink - hahaha that’s a DUTCH guy ya know !!! ;)

I’m really excited now, because I really think we can beat Russia and go to the semi-finals … m maybe we will even become CHAMPION this year !!! I’m so so sooooo EXCITED :oops: To celebrate the victory another soccer song ‘Alle Welpies Helpen’ - there’s text with it too, so you can sing along …

The song belongs to a commercial of my favorite supermarket Albert Heijn. When you spend a minimum of € 15,- on grocery shopping you receive a little Welpie. If you have collected 3 Welpies, you can return the tails to the store - pay a little bit of extra cash and receive a stuffed Welpies or a Welpie cap :( Even though I have loads of little Welpies I still haven’t got the big goodies *sigh*

:shock: This is UNBELIEVABLE we beat France with 4 - 1 !!! I’m so proud of our team *gasp* Only Romania to go, I hope we will beat them too - for my Italian friends ;) To celebrate the victory another André Hazes song…
