La Femme

Hi, my name is Aleida Samallo. I’m a 25 year old female creativist, thinker, blogger and videogamer from The Netherlands. I love videogame culture, music, movies, photography, graphic design, fashion and food. I’m interested in the Network Society, Social Media, Marketing, Social Psychology and Intercultural Communication. I’m actually interested in a lotta things.

Creativist

I love to be creative while inspired by my interests. Such as making music, being busy in Photoshop or sketching things on paper. I also love to write about my favorite things on my weblog.

Unfortunately I do not have much time to make mixtapes anymore. I’m still a very big fan of electronic dance music. I have done mixes in the past and performed as a DJ in Second Life® using my alterego Cecille Enoch. You can listen to the mix above which serves as a very old demo mix.

I love photography! I like to take photos in real life, but also inside virtual environments such as Second Life®. You can find a collection of my photography on my Flickr account.

I prefer to shoot landscapes and daily life photo’s. I hope to diversify more and learn how to do more ‘urban jungle’ themed photos. When it comes to videogame photography I like storybook or fashion themed photographs. I also enjoy touching up my photographs using Photoshop.
